Graduation
For those that don't know, when it comes to my work, I can be a perfectionist. So extreme to the point it angers me till it's right. I recently designed mine and hillary's prayer card for our Philippines mission trip and was sooo disapointed in the printing quality at FedEx printing in Longview. You could see the lines from the printer and several still had a white border that they didn't fully cut off. I paid $80 dollars to have 500 of them printed and my perfectionism just went crazy. Even now it bugs me to hand them out because I feel like it reflects on me. (I know that no one other than myself really cares.) All that to say that when it came to sending out my graduation announcements I knew I wanted to be in control of the whole process. I spent some time looking at templates on Walmart's website but that was a complete waste of time. So here is my final product. I designed, printed, and cut out each card myself. I am so pleased with the clean simple look of it and can't wait to send them out. Photography by Brittany Skelton

Philippines
On Thursday November 7th the largest ever recorded typhoon hit land in the Philippines. It has been heart breaking to see the news of photos from the aftermath.
In February of 2014 I will be moving to Sabang, Philippines along with my best friend to work in an orphanage and help run a feeing program. To know what the country has endured the last week hurts. To see the amount of orphans continue to rise makes me want to pack up and move tomorrow... if only. Where we will be working was about 150 miles from where the typhoon hit. Thankfully no one was injured but 5 of the church members houses were completely destroyed. They are in the process of raising funds to help rebuild those homes. It only cost $1000 to build a nice home in the Philippines. If you would like more info on how to contribute you can email me at beccahaskell@gmail.com.

Memories of Haiti
In mid July I got the opportunity to go to Haiti with my church. We spent 7 days in the beautiful country working with 410 Bridge. We assisted the people of Chadirac in building a school for 400 kids who had no school building. These are just some of my favorite random photos, you can see more of the photos i took on the church flickr page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/99254888@N07/
